Just a few thoughts to provide you with some of the essentials to navigate your day, your week, and your lifetime.
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matt. 11:28).
We live in a hurried world, demanding we strive to be here or there — running, and never taking time to REST in the arms of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. When we are in this place, we often cannot hear from Him, much less understand what His calling is for our life. We must take time — not only for our physical well-being, but most especially for our spiritual well-being.
“Restore to me the joy of my salvation, and grant me a willing spirit to sustain me” (Psa. 5:12).
When we take time to REST, we allow ourselves the time needed to RESTORE in a manner that restores the very joy of our salvation under Jesus Christ. Spiritual restoration is key for a righteous relationship with the Father.
“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind” (Rom. 12:2).
Once we have been RESTORED in and throughout our spiritual walk, we can RENEW that wonderful calling that God has placed upon our lives. There is not better thing in all the world than to be able to fulfill the calling God has placed upon our heart.
I welcome you to take the time this week to incorporate these items in your life this week.
